Refund & Credit Card Processing Policy

My Brother’s Keeper Fire Training LLC

At My Brother’s Keeper Fire Training LLC (“MBK Fire Training,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), we are committed to delivering high-quality fire service training, certification programs, and professional development courses. Please review the following policy carefully before registering for any course or making a payment on mbkfire.com.

  1. Payment Processing

All payments made on mbkfire.com are processed securely via third-party credit card processors. We accept major credit and debit cards.

  • Payment is due in full at the time of registration unless otherwise stated.
  • A confirmation email will be sent once payment is successfully processed.
  • If a transaction is declined, registration is not confirmed.
  1. Course Cancellation by Participant

More Than 14 Days Before Course Start

Participants who cancel 14 days or more before the scheduled course date may receive:

  • A full refund minus a 5% processing fee, or
  • A full credit toward a future course (no processing fee deducted).

7–13 Days Before Course Start

Participants who cancel between 7–13 days prior to the course may receive:

  • A 50% refund, or
  • A full course credit for use within 12 months.

Less Than 7 Days Before Course Start

Cancellations made less than 7 days before the course start date are non-refundable.
At our discretion, a credit may be issued for documented emergencies.

  1. No-Shows

Participants who do not attend a scheduled course without prior written notice are considered no-shows and are not eligible for refunds or credits.

  1. Course Transfers
  • Registrations may be transferred to another individual from the same department or organization at no additional charge.
  • Transfer requests must be submitted in writing at least 48 hours prior to the course start date.
  1. Course Cancellation by MBK Fire Training

If My Brother’s Keeper Fire Training LLC cancels or reschedules a course due to:

  • Instructor availability
  • Weather conditions
  • Minimum enrollment requirements
  • Unforeseen circumstances

Participants may choose:

  • A full refund, or
  • Transfer to a future course date.

MBK Fire Training LLC is not responsible for travel expenses, lodging, or other related costs.

  1. Digital Materials & Online Courses
  • Access to digital training materials, downloadable resources, or online coursework is non-refundable once access has been granted.
  • If technical issues occur, we will work promptly to resolve them.
  1. Chargebacks & Disputes

If you believe there has been a billing error, please contact us directly at:

Initiating a chargeback without first contacting us may result in:

  • Suspension from future course registration
  • Collection procedures if the dispute is found invalid

We are committed to resolving issues professionally and promptly.

  1. Refund Processing Timeline

Approved refunds will be processed within:

  • 7–10 business days

Funds will be returned to the original payment method used during checkout.
